KYRO by VELXAI you carry with you
Your intelligence.
Anywhere.
Kyro is an AI assistant on a USB drive. Plug it into any Chromebook, Mac or Windows computer, and ask it anything. Your chats stay encrypted on the drive, not in the cloud.
One little drive. A lot of help.
Kyro writes, explains, researches and plans — and keeps your life on the drive, with you.
Private
Your chats and memories are encrypted on the drive with your password. They aren't kept online.
Smart
Powered by Google's Gemini. Ask questions, write, brainstorm, study and more.
Web research
Kyro searches the internet when it helps and shows the sites it used.
Reads your files
Attach a PDF, picture or text file and Kyro reads it to help you.
Google Docs
Connect your Google account and let Kyro add writing to a Doc you choose.
Goes with you
Unplug it and your AI comes with you — no account to log into on each computer.
Up and running in a minute
No installing, no setup on the computer.
Plug it in
Put your Kyro Shift into a Chromebook, Mac or Windows computer and open Kyro.
Unlock
Enter your password. It unlocks your private chats and memories, stored on the drive.

Questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. Kyro runs from the drive. On a Chromebook you install the Kyro app once from the drive; on Mac and Windows nothing is installed on the computer.
Does it need the internet?
Yes, to answer questions, because the AI runs online. Your chats and memories are still stored privately on the drive.
Is my data private?
Your chats and memories are encrypted on the drive with your password. They aren't kept online. See our Privacy Policy.
What if I lose the drive?
No one can open it without your password. But your chats live only on the drive, so keep it safe and remember your recovery key.
Can I use it for school?
Kyro helps you learn, understand and plan. It's not for cheating — follow your school's rules about AI. See our Terms.
